Cleaning service

Knowing who you are working with matters and we are transparent about all aspects of our cleaning services. If you don't see your question listed here then please include it in your quote request! 

Cleaning cupboard faces for residential home
  • What are your hourly rates? (Residential and Move Out Cleaning)
    Our rates vary depending on the type of service requested. Residential recurring and one-time deep cleaning prices are charged hourly and you can expect to pay $50+/hour per cleaner. Move Out cleaning prices are also charged hourly and you can expect to pay $40+/hour per cleaner.
  • Why do you require a walk through?
    To avoid surprises! It's unlikely that we will realistically know how long it will take to clean your home without viewing it first. While walking through, we consider how long since the last deep cleaning, how often each room is used, and what its used for. When its time to book you in we will know exactly what we are getting into. Communicating priorities is much easier in person as not everyone prioritizes their space in the same way. To get a sense of how we should care for your property it is best for us to meet in person and view the areas that matter to you most! Lastly, this gives us both a chance to decide whether we are the right fit for each other. We want you to feel comfortable with who is in your home and caring for your things.
  • What if I have to cancel my appointment?
    Stuff is going to happen. At one point or another -- for whatever reason, one of us is going to need to reschedule our cleaning. Communication is key. Call, text or email as soon as you know there is a conflict and we’ll do our best to reschedule your cleaning at the next earliest convenience. We will do the same. As long as we have a 24-hour notice there will be no $50 cancellation charge. If you or your children get sick with a contagious illness (i.e. the flu, a cold, pneumonia, chicken pox etc.) please call and reschedule your cleaning. No cancellation charges for illness.
  • What if my appointment lands on a holiday?
    Some months, your clean may land on a holiday which requires us to reschedule due to staff availability. If you would still like us to come, we will charge our hourly rate at time-and-a-half to accommodate for the statutory hourly rate that is paid out to our staff.
  • Who is going to be cleaning my house?
    Our team is made up of local, hard-working individuals who are properly trained and vetted through our onboarding process. We do our best to keep the same cleaner(s) returning to your home as often as possible. However, we are not able to guarantee this 100% of the time due to availability, sickness, holidays, etc. You can view which cleaner is assigned to your home that day through the Client Hub. By selecting today's appointment, it will give you details including what time your cleaner(s) start at and who is coming.
  • Is Happy House Cleaning Services insured and licensed?
    Yes! Not only are we fully insured and bonded, we also have the necessary licensing to provide services to the community of Lethbridge and Area. Our insurance includes WCB to support our team members should anything happen on the job. We take precautions while working to care for your home and the health of everyone inside. Should any damage occur (big or small) we are quick to communicate the concern and discuss steps moving forward. Your trust in us is important and we do everything we can to keep it!
